Its February!!! 5 more months until my other half comes home from the sand box! I am beyond excited...I know, I know 5 months seems like forever away but its really not. The first 6 months zoomed by. We talk to each other a lot so I know that has helped time go by. Not to mention, we are both super busy with our responsibilities so the day is over before we know it. I'm so proud of him. Words can't even express it. I'm proud of myself also. I didn't think I was going to make it without him but I'm doing pretty damn good. Everyone seems so shocked when they find out Mike is deployed and I'm STILL here in Germany. Well, what was I suppose to do? Run back to my mother's house? No thanks. I'm a big girl, I can handle things on my own. ;)

Well anyway, AMP (here) has a new weekly post called Tasty Tuesday! Oohhh! I'm going to have my entry after I cook dinner tonight. Plenty of time to get it in. I'm also participating in the Joy of Love (here) for the month of February. You should sign up! I think it will fun. Today's assignment is "What they do". We are to snap a shot of a loved one doing what they do. Sleeping, eating, playing, working, etc. I took a shot of Sera playing with her stuffed animals, George and Tee Tee. (she named them)

I wish I had better lighting in my house. Its so gloomy and depressing outside today. :( Well that's all for now.

Having kids sure does make your hips spread! I was cleaning out my closet earlier and trying on clothes that I hadn't worn in awhile...just to make sure they still fit/looked okay on me. I couldn't get 14 out of 16 pairs of jeans to get over my damn hips! I guess its a good excuse to go shopping =D I need a new wardrobe anyway..my style has changed. I'm more into the laid back yet stylish look.

Hurricane Jasera went through Isaiah's room last night so while I cleaned, I let him hang out in his crib.

He is looking more like his daddy every day...big ears and all! =) I was looking through some of his newborn pictures and he looks nothing like he use to. Actually, he was one weird looking kid lol. I'm glad he grew out of that alien look.

I was reading a young lady's blog today (Jazmyn - The Sweetest Life) and she made a post about going through an identity crisis. I think this happens with a lot of mothers. We get so wrapped up in being a mom that we forget that we are much more than just a mom or just a wife. We're not robots! I think its important to still do the things that you love to do in addition to being a mother. You can do both. If mommy isn't happy..NO ONE IS.
